The last time we saw Darth Vader in a Bandai Namco fighting game was as a guest character in Soul Calibur 4, so this feels like a nice little throwback. I'll make a list of the updated mods here for reference (there can be extra fixes or additions, read the descriptions for more details): -Creation Topless. Overall, though, this Tekken 7 mod looks like a lot of fun to play. After so much time I've finally learned how to get rid of the body seams in my Soul Calibur 6 mods and I've started to update them. Some other things don't work quite as well, though, like Vader resting the lightsaber on his shoulder with that Negan smugness. The voice is also swapped out here, giving Vader lines such as "your powers are weak" and "give yourself to the dark side."Ī lot of things from Negan translate over well to Darth Vader, even the Rage Art that reenacts the memorable lineup scene from the comics / show - though I guess that would actually play out differently with a blazing hot blade instead of a blunt baseball bat. Vader has all of the big bat swings and strikes of Negan, and each time the lightsaber moves we hear the classic sound from the Star Wars films. The creator notes that Vader is still a work in progress - which we can see from his face being a bit hard to see - but in action it looks great.
